Capture the Flag Other Raining Client Side

Nam is comprised of a very large map with a river splitting it into two
sides. It has approximately 750 trees and dense layers of fog. This is
complemented by rocks, low lying water areas, and small shrubs. Because of
the fog it is a sniper's nightmare, but for the tactical player, and anyone
interested in a whole lot of fun, it is amazing. The map is huge, almost
2000m between each base.

Capture the Flag Other Raining Client Side

A terrain balanced client side CTF map. Bases consist of hollows located behind mountain ranges. Entry to the hollow can be directly over the mountains or through some of the various buildings. The Flag, however, is situated on a floating open platform in the center of the hollow, so Defence is not an easy task, but neither is Offence.

In addition to the two bases there are two capturable remote Tree Fortresses. These can help expand your sensor network and can also help in shutting down enemy vehicle presence.

Thanks for the interest!

Capture the Flag Lush Raining Client Side Night

This is my first map, so give me an honest review...

Its dark, storming, your stuck in a crater, and your base is starting to leak. What else could possibly go wrong? Spoke too soon, it seems the enemy has set up their base in the same crater as you. Show them who's boss.

Elements:
- Hazardous lightning
- Sensors extremely valuable
- Base gen. behind ff powered by gens inside base

The Long Run by DarkFame on June 27, 2001

Capture the Flag Lush Raining

This is my first Tribes 2 map.
The distance between the bases is long. It's a long run on foot, so the vehicles really comes in handy in this map. Teamwork is a key to capture the flag, as it's difficult to cap alone. The two bases have different layouts, so each side has a different defense tactic. I tried to balance both sides equally. In the middle of the battle field you'll find a tactical tower (with capture switch). Please give me feedback so I can improve my mapping skills and make better maps :-)

Capture the Flag Lush Raining

A balanced CTF map in a swamp during a heavy rainstorm. The heavy fog makes it dangerous to fly at low levels, and the high floodwaters make it difficult to travel on land. (There is also the occasional lightning strike, so be careful) The environment allows for some strategies that may not be available in other maps. 4 flag captures to win. Another note- the MPB is available for construction, but it's very dangerous to attempt to drive it because even a slight pothole can submerge it enough to make it explode.

Capture the Flag Lush Raining Bots Client Side

This is my first offering for CTF Tribes2 players. I myself work in the film & computer game industry as a SFX Editor & 3d modeller/animator,so due to my job it may be a while before I start my next map.If you like this one, hold on it won't be long.(although I've already planned what it's going to look like) Rest assured that my new map will knock spots off of this one. As for this map, I've included BOT support for testing at home. I'm not sure to what extent I've got that right so forgive me if the BOTS go a bit AWOL! However, the human vs human element of the map is great.

Capture the Flag Lush Raining

This is my first server side only map. It has open flag areas and now inventory stations. The vehicle pad supplies "Jerrys" and grav cycles. I think that the importatnce of the Jerry will encourage team work on a higher level. The map is large and has alot of good sniper bunkers. Hopefully ya'll like the one. =)

Capture the Flag Lush Raining Client Side

A large CTF map with 2 bases, about 1000 km appart. There is also one base in the middle, for both teams to re-supply. I activated only the flying vehicles cos it would be quite difficult to drive to the other base. I cut down on the details cos it slows down the game on the net. This map is not the best I can do, it is my first, but you will see more. Enjoy. -Supernova69 - Map Editor

Epicenter by StormShadow[AK] on June 14, 2001

Capture the Flag Lush Raining Client Side

I hope you find this map as challenging to play as I found it to make. I wanted a map that had ONE key strategic element. That is the “Epicenter”. A single bridge separating you from your enemy spans this massive canyon that divides this otherwise flat landscape. The bridge has special pedestrian only access underneath it and is accessed by open hatches on the bridge’s surface. Holding the central bridge is the key to "Epicenter". The flag is located in an island sanctuary surrounded by a moat.
