Mod

Shifter - started by Emo1313, finished by TerroX, this mod has been in active development (and still is) since Tribes 2 was released over 2 years ago. 18 vehicles, 18 armor classes, over 50 weapon types, 11 Grenade types, 9 Mine types, 19 packs, 7 Vehicle modules, 25 Deployables, Also part of Shifter is the HERC Destroyer, a walking War Machine which fields 4 crew.

The Classic modification brings speed and intensity back to the Tribes game. The majority of the changes revolve around creating a faster and more exciting game play experience. Included with this modification is a game type called "Defend and Destroy" (DnD), which many players will remember from Tribes 1. See section 3.2 for more information on DnD.

Renegades is for all of you who just can't stand the slow pace of base Tribes 2. It offers faster movement, more armor selections for different styles of play, more weapons, more packs, and lots of deployable items. If you like to play at breakneck speeds and live only by your wits, Renegades is the mod for you.

Faster player movement through improved skiing, jumping, jetting, and less drag. Power up the underused packs, grenades, and vehicles so they are valuable tools. Reduce the time spent doing chores so players can spend more time on the action. Address the shortcomings of 'base' without going over-the-top. Make Tribes 2 ROCK!
