Capture the Flag Other Raining Client Side
A terrain balanced client side CTF map. Bases consist of hollows located behind mountain ranges. Entry to the hollow can be directly over the mountains or through some of the various buildings. The Flag, however, is situated on a floating open platform in the center of the hollow, so Defence is not an easy task, but neither is Offence.
In addition to the two bases there are two capturable remote Tree Fortresses. These can help expand your sensor network and can also help in shutting down enemy vehicle presence.
Thanks for the interest!

Whether or not I like this
by Rilke on July 13, 2001 Permalink · Rating:Whether or not I like this map or the gameplay it fosters, it is but one fruminous bandersnatch nose hair away from being excellently conceived, and perfectly executed. I flat out disagree with EEPROM's hasty criticism--the terrain textures blend seamlessly with a spring day where Winter's hold is being broken by fresh rain, melting snow, and emerging grass. I gyre'd and gimbled in the wabe for about an hour and at first wondered why there was so much indoor space with an outdoor flag. But then I imagined all the battles that would take place in hallways during stalemates. I only wish there was more to rape in the connected underground structure. Perhaps gens controlling forcefields around the other gens, or something to that effect. Out in the field are packs and open spaces and capturable objectives, which lend to an almost dizzying amount of action taking place in too numerous pockets. But these are the riches of T2 and her potential. There are a few errors in the terrain around some of the bases, namely the large gen structure, and a few object alignment errors. Else perfection. I prefer T1 style maps and play, but this map bears the intelligence, thoughtfullness and care of its author, which is more important than my preferences. I'd be happy to catch it on a server sometime.
I must say, I honestly

I think this map is excellent, I played on it a good few times with my clan mates and it's all fast paced non stop action from start to finish.
Quite possibly one of the best maps i've ever played.
Sheer genius.
