Capture the Flag Volcanic Foggy

This is a variant of "Fields of Fire", but is very different. The only similarities is that the bases are in the same place on the same terrain, and the generator base is mostly unchanged. The similarities end there. The flag tower is some distance off, and the flag is completely enclosed in forcefields. The seperate forcefield generator bunker is some distance away, and the single vehicle pad is also a short ways off. This map has it's own eye-candy, and adds some interesting strategies to the game.

Capture the Flag Volcanic Foggy

I figured it was high-time I made a decent lava-map, so here it is! The bases have the flag in a seperate tower from the main base, which is mildly protected by forcefields. There are also two floating vehicle pads per team, and a large capturable objective in the center of the map with humorously trapped characters in stasis that cry for help. :) Generally it's a fun map that results in only a few cappings here and there, and has received some very good compliments in-game (not the least of which is people voting to change to this mission). :)

Reversion River by [NL]-Farek on May 21, 2001

Capture the Flag Volcanic Clear Bots Client Side Night

My second map for Tribes 2. Both teams have only one main base, located on the banks of the Great Reversion River. The lavaground is only just cool enough to walk on, except for one volcano that's still active. If you like to play russian roulette from time to time and you are low on health you should take a look there :). A nearby green sun adds great lighting to the scene. The river can be used for lowlevel shrikeflights. Botsupport is added but they cant seem to find their way inside and around the buildings. Enjoy, Farek

Capture the Flag Volcanic Foggy Night

This update to Version 1.1 has several changes and additions made to it. 1. The 3 sentry turrets by the flags have been removed, the top 2 still remain though. 2. Fog has gotten just a little bit thicker. :) 3. Added an extra sound to map, though, it shouldn't be too annoying. :) 4. Cleaned up command view of each teams objects. Numbers removed and double words removed. 5. Load up shot now at 58kb instead of over 1MB. 6. Added 2 more observer view points, they are looking at the flags. 7. I finally got bright enough ScreenShot's.

Big Rocks by EEPROM on May 18, 2001

Capture the Flag Volcanic Foggy Night

Get ready for the biggest darn rocks you have ever seen!!! Giant pillers that rise from a sea of lava. Giant fireballs rain from the sky and you must hop from piller to piller to reach your goal, the enemy flag. Deplyables will be hard to deply since the pillers are made of solid rock. Limited vehical support to flying vehicals only, but it's a blast!!! This is my favorite map, may not be my best but I sure love playing it.

Bounty Capture the Flag Deathmatch Hunters Rabbit Team Hunters Volcanic Clear Bots Night

An emergancy evacuation on the hostile planet of Valcus 7 has forced the Inferno and Storm tribes to flee into the flying fortress high above the volcanic land. Now the two sides fight in close quaters to claim controll of the only safe haven. This map was designed for the fans of BloodBath in Tribes. This map is server side, so only the Server Admin's need to download it.

Capture the Flag Volcanic Foggy Bots Night

This is my first map for Tribes 2 as I've finally gotten the hang of the editor. The map is built high enough in the air and with enough fog that you don't have to render the lava all the time(that is until you fall into it) There is a center control point high above the middle of the bridge which gains your team 6 sentry turrets(4 on bridge, 2 on control point) and access to the secret tunnel under the bridge. Enjoy!

King of the Hill 1 by Ninja on May 13, 2001

Capture the Flag Volcanic Storming Bots Client Side Night

Going with the "game" theme, this is your typical game of King of the Hill, with a twist. Neither team's flag can be captured by the other team (there are green forcefields and the generator is buried underground). But there is ONE capturable flag (on an unassigned team) which both teams must climb the giant hill to retrieve. Should make for some interesting gameplay.
