Siege Other Clear Client Side Custom Textures Custom Shapes

Egyptia 2 is a revised version of Egyptia1.
It is now siege and has many new improvements.
-added new dts shapes, pyramid, gem, roundglass
-Added more inv stations in the base.
-reworked the base so it has more openings.
-redid the terrain
-changed the names of all files so it wont conflict with previous version
-added unintentional EasterEgg.. see if you can find it

Extras.....
The gems surrounding the temple are extremely lethal. best bet is to attack from afar and then send some cloakers to avoid the all seeing gems.
there are only 4 gens total as it is a defense friendly map.
the gems are loaded with turrets and are impervious to damage. So avoid these or die fast.. :).

tribalmaster and unclebob for the vid screen, which I yanked from their planetside map.
Dox for letting me use the palm trees (to death) I promise to make my own someday.. lol

The trees, terrain and textures in this map are all very impressive, but the buildings feel very square and don't lend themselves to a very good siege game. The sentry turrets are amazingly infuriating, and the yellow light inside the ff building seems very weird... in fact it seems like the interior was a little rushed. The game isn't really that unique or fun to play, and strange things like the lack of a vehicle collision brush on the pyramid and the scale of the buildings put me off voting for this map. I have to say I doubt 90\% of the people who have given this map an A+ have played it with more than 3 people.

Well now..
interiors? rushed?
hmmm... well all in all they took about a week maybe less..
so yes they were rushed.. and the dts shapes you call the pyramid do have collision brushes, or actually collisions per se'... but for some reason vehicles dont like collision brushes that are pyramidial.. odd..
but since I dont know how to open the .exe to edit the hard code I am stuck with tribes 2 limitations.. oh well.
all in all its a really good map and yes I have played it with more then 3 people.. :)
its kind of fun watching the bodies pile up by the gems... Oh well cant win them all.. :)

I find some of the top ten are not top ten worthy but I dont complain.. :)
But anyways its all good..
evryone has his or her own opinion.. :)
