Capture the Flag Desert Clear

Its a remake of Desert Guns to try and make it more ownage-proof. The MPB now spawns behind the base at the start of the map- AND whenever it is destroyed. All turrets are now missile to take out those tanks. Gravcycles now available at Vpad. MPB now no longer available at Vpad (duh). Couple more minor tweaks, some redundant base junk removed, and a deployable inventory waiting at the objective for ya.

This map is based on Vestige by dr boom and uses his interiors, I liked his map so much I wanted to make a non-Siege version.

Some gameplay altering scripting was done. Sparkys teleporters were added just as they are in dr booms map. You can undeploy deployables simply by walking up to one, looking at it and pressing your pack key. This was put in because maybe you do not like where the bot placed something.

All scripting is activated via the Map Support Pack v2 by Founder, myself and TseTse.

My seventh clientside map focuses on close combat, as well as judicious use of limited assets. It serves 7v7 the best, but should scale well up to 12v12 (hopefully).

Each team starts out with two MPBs in addition to their "solid" base assets. They don't respawn, so once they get torn up that's the end of'em.

The terrain is very ski-friendly, with plenty of cover and places to hide deployable invos.

The base complexes themselves are home to a turret, a sensor, six invos, and a generator.

Sand, sand, and more sand.

2 large bases overlooking a flat expanse of barren, windswept desert with only a few odd rock formations and a handfull of buildings in between, navigation should be easy right? Maybe up high where the sands arent blowing and visibility is 100\%, but for you people who like to walk, have fun.

Not so well hidden (oops) is a small sensor net, one which is toggled by a switch deep inside an underground base (no defenses here).

It was their checkmate against those that had forgotten so many years before. A cruel joke. So those that had forgotten, would be forgotten.

Xerxes was created out of my desire to create a "Valley of the Kings" type of environment. What was created was a land of winding canyons where windblown sand rolls along the ground. A place of power, ancient and great.

Is this dramatic enough for you yet, or should I pour a little more literary heat into it? No? Well, we'll just get to the mechanics of the thing then.

Each team controls a Pillar Tomb base, which houses the main generator and six inventories. Just outside, one will find the flag in an obelisk.

Siege Desert Foggy

My first was a bit unbalanced. With 5 defenders you could easy win form 15 attackers. So i made some changes and hopefully its better now. Ill try to put it on the [HoT]Pimp server, for testing.

Its server sided.

And plz report any bugs to me.
