Capture the Flag Volcanic Foggy Night

In the true nature of tributes, I have actually made this map server side for all you lazy 56kers out there =P...

This map has taken me many hours and much agony to get the VERY complex power system to work correctly. Keep that in mind while playing this map. It is intended for larger crowds, yet the solo scout can still take this base out with the right equipment. Now to the base description...

Each team spawns at the base of a large ground base on the far stretches of the map. Inventory is limited to 4 stations here in each of the 4 cubby holes in the tower.

Sabotage is a map designed for teamplay and matches (Large mission area). The primary aim of the gameplay involves a series of Generators that bring down different sections of the defense, hence the name "Sabotage".

The rear Generators (Bunkers in sshot1) control the Defensive Network, Sensors - Turrets - FF's. There is also a remote staging point for the offense (sshot3 ;-)

*Special Thanks to Akira for use of the Sky from Black Ice

*Note to people who expect to cap the flag in under 20 seconds - it wont happen! (And don't complain...

Blade of Darkness by Red Shifter on December 15, 2001

Siege Badlands Clear Night

Blade of Darkness is a return to NightSword, the Siege map that started my mapping career off with nothing but As and Bs. NightSword is a close-quarters confrontation between the attackers and the defenders. This time around, there are no complex scripts or required teamwork to get in the way of the offense beating the hell out of the defense.

There is a backdoor to the defensive base, which would be the front door, used for fast captures.

Siege Desert Foggy Night

I've had this map done for some time now, I've just been to lazy and cought up in school to release it. The map features the df3 pyramid that is in the map "eternal equanox".

The pyramid isn't exactly the same, but you can still see a strong resemblance in the layout.

The only downside to this map is the low fps. With my diamond viper 32mb graphics card, i average about 5fps when looking AT the pyramid.

enjoy!

Ah...the beauty of Meltdown2. But does anyone make maps for it? Not really. Until now.....

Two bases consisting of a main base, a tower with forcefield gens and a vehiclepad, a inventory bunker, two sensors, a missile turret and a fallout shelter if the base is taken.

There is a center objective that grants the owner a huge sensor array that will definatly help see incoming vehilces and attackers. This is crucial due to the very dense sulfur emmissions and low visibility. The only way to obtain this objective is to destroy its generators.

Well this will be my first try at a ARENA map, and I hope luck is on my side again that everything works. Well it's a big one! I think there are a couple bigger ones not to sure. Anyway I had no problem with lag, even with vehicles. I spent some time with World Craft to make the arena work. (pain in the ass I can say that). 3 days!!! CnH base in the middle which is the only base with 2 turrets. Everything is indoors. You can go outside but you better be flying cause when you fall you're dead.(took out wet edges). = lava is everywhere. Which is my piont on keeping things inside.

Capture the Flag Lush Foggy Night

UpperHand is a SERVER SIDE map made with the terrain of Insalubria. This CTF map is a mix of aerial and ground combat, but is mostly oriented to aerial. The 2 floating "Sanctuary" bases are about 650 M apart, and between them spans a little field of floating "lilly pads" that players can cross on. A vehicle pad is also available. Each team has 2 generators that both power all equipment and some default Forcefields. There is also a controllable ELF turret in the center of the "lilly pads", which makes for a fun time trying to get across.

Final Fantasy by Deathscythe~40 on December 5, 2001

Capture the Flag Snow Foggy Client Side Night

My redition of "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within" coupled with some elements/concepts from "Final Fantasy VII".

This map if Firestorm style in that the bases face each other, yet there is a huge crater that separates them. The base gens are located deep within this crater on thier respective sides. Attackers must take down BOTH gens (main base and flag forcefield) to gain access to the flag. Should make for some interesting gameplay in in large numbers...Juggs must walk around, lights can just barely fusor-jump across the ravine.

Underground bases down by the lake. It's a nice satrry night out down by the pier. The flag is on the pier and if the flag is let go on or in the water it floats.
