Arena Deathmatch Snow Raining

this is my first arena map...cince i love arena i thought i would contribute to the growing archive of arena maps :)

now theres 2 bases as usual, with stations (duh). theres many bridges n' such to battle over and alot of ammo lying around. in the 'map center' theres some repair patches for the injured (hehe).

umm...the water looks alot like milk lol, i dont know why but i couldnt change it at all. but thats it for now :P

i hope you guys enjoy this map and have lotsa fun.

placing water in the editor is a pain unless you know the names of the water tiles. best thing to do is find water that you like in ANOTHER map and copy it from the .mis file and place it in your map .mis...then you change the hieght and junk from there. as for the name..........damnnit! i was all excited! where is the leather bustier and the whip!? grrrr...

lol thats funny death :P i couldnt think of a name and that was the first thing to come to mind hehe. i dont know about the water but to me its fine. the rain is acidic and it melts the ice so then the water has to be a funky olor so why not like milk? lol hope you all enjoy

Yes death is right, water can be a pain. What I did is i went into the .vl2 and made a list of all the LiquidTiles to have handy when mapping. Of course, copying works too and milk is just fine! lol I know the milk thing has happened to me before =P

lol lucky for me i have a 'my computer' right on my keyboard so i can minimize t2 to get other things :) because for some reason you cant minimize t2 by hitting alt-tab :(

you can put T2 in a window tho..press alt + enter...now for the water tiles..just open up the textures.vl2 with winzip and then organize/view it by path...then scroll down to where it says special/liquidtiles....there are all your water/liquid textures ^_^ all you have to do is preview them in whatever program you have to view PNG's and there ya have it
