This is my first Siege map but probably my most well thought-out and planned map yet: <P> The defense is focused around three generators, one to power the external forcefields, one to power the interior forcefields, and another generator to power the forcefields in the basement. But there is another non-essential generator to power the inventory stations. The offense must have all the generators down to gain access to the control switch room. But once you are in there it's easy capping. Because I made the closest two forcefields not let the defenders through so that they can't be cheap and satchel/mine the whole room. <P> The offense has a nice setup too. They have something that I think is revolutionary in anti-llama technology. The vehicle station is protected by teamslow forcefields. So llamas can't shoot their teammates off the vehicle station. <P> Well, have fun on this map all.

The only problem I saw was that the force field generaters were Extremly easy to find and destroy.I think they could of had more turrets gaurding, which brings me to the subject that there were no turents in the entire level! But With a little tweaking I think this map can become very Good

by PsychoBorg on June 20, 2002 Permalink · Rating:well, the reason i made them easy is because the offense has to have all three generators down at the same time to get into the control room, i felt i had to do a little for the offense and place them in semi-easy positions. + mostly in siege turrets just get annoying and the defenders like doing most of the killing. :)

Hey, Yesterday i noticed something wrong with the spawnspheres. I have fixed that now, and after thinking alot about those suggestions, I decided to put 2 sentry turrets in strategic places for the defense.
So, if you downloaded this map before Monday, June 24th 7'o clock Eastern time. DL it again for the reasons above

Played this map on pubs once,

The three gens are actually very difficuly to take down if the defense is even remotely repairing. I think this map is a nice concept, and we'll see how it plays out, I just don't know about another map based off of the Icebound base. Also - I think the FF on the VPad for the offense is highly unnecessary. I hardly ever hear of teammates shooting each other off of the station. And what if someone sits there and doesn't buy a vehicle?? You have a problem. I also think the VPad should have Inventory stations on it. Overall, the map looks pretty good, we'll see how it does.
