Capture the Flag Desert Storming Client Side Custom Shapes

It was time for a sequel to my first map CottonMouth so I decided to make all new structures for this map. The terrain is a modified DustTo Dust terrain (which the original was based on). The map consists simply of two bases/bunkers each protected by four base turrets(I suggest you change the barrels to air defense as quickly as you can) and one central objective and a road thru the mountains connecting the two bases. The central objective named "Snipers Peak" gives the controlling team two INV's, a sensor and a vantage point to the other base as well as a Missile turret and a sensor guarding the road between bases.Mappers are free to use these interiors as they please.I hope the map is as fun to play as it was to make and thanks go out to TseTse and V5Planet for help in testing and suggestions.

WOW! Like the bases! I love it when people make good bases....makes me feel all warm inside. Maybe I will use them...be awhile. I try this out now!

Excellent map, thought I still don't like the title. =P

I got the chance to play this map pre-release. And I have to tell you, PUT THIS MAP ON YOUR SERVER. Yes its client side but as players get the auto downloader it wont matter. This is a great map. Needs to be reviewed!

I like this map. I got to play it as beta, and I thought that it was great. The name needs more creativity, though :)

Jeeeeeez... DRIFTER is right about new bases making one feel all "warm and tingly" inside :D. The look from the screenshots alone sorta gives the base a midevil look to it... Hey DRIFTER, perhaps a map where the base is some type of Abbey or something in midevil England? Heh..

WOW! And I thought that sparky was dead, and just a guy who was in forums, reading the posts, and seeing the screen shots it already looks like ownage, but I'll have to check it out for myself.

WOW! I'm truelly amazed. Sparky did a good job here, the bases arn't very big and confusing, but they definitly are big. I love how it gives a ancient temple ruin type feel to it, espicially with those neato lights above. Great job!

I think I might drown in my own drool ;) Those bases have got ot be the most beautiful ive ever seen! They're the only organic bases in Tribes besides the little decorations in Ziggurat (how does Akira name those?). Kind of reminds me of Serious Sam, that desert temple theme. I have excellent WC skills but i need an IDEA!!! I was able to do YeOldeBroadside cause i had something to copy. It was one of my earlier buildings too, so it's not as detailed inside as it could have been. anyway, GREAT JOB!

nice job on the bases (attractive-wise anyways) or whatnot but i cannot foresee any fun gameplay on this map at all. four base turrets plus full clamp and spike turret setup, plus massive distance between bases, plus crappy terrain w/ no routes, plus an enclosed flag with no clean routes whatsoever, plus a completely uncampable gen room = no damn fun
