Capture the Flag Volcanic Storming Custom Shapes Night

Oblivion is all about intensity. Bases are close together, and a capturable Strike Base provides a Vehical Station and a midmap Gun Platform. The Gun platform is set between the two bases, wreaking havoc apon anyone caught near them.

My goal with Oblivion was to create a chaotic enviroment that harbored the intense gameplay that many players love. I also wanted a map that forced teamwork on the players. If a team wants to surpress the Gun Platform, they have to capture the Strike Base, or failing that, kill the turrets. The close proximity of a repair pack makes keeping these guns down for long difficult.

Be aware that this map contains bases that did not come with T2. The bases were used in the DEV map "Devil's Elbow". Anyone who has Devil's Elbow or has downloaded Oblivion will be able to play.

Uh, Ijust realized I didnt package the DEV map base file with the map. I submitted a new version to Bytor, and hopefully he will fix this. You can still play the map when u DL it, but only if you have DLed "Devil's Elbow".

I like the map in general. The capturable base ideas I like because you earn what you get. The turret platform makes a big deal however the vehicles do not since the bases are so close. A Bomber is likely to kill teammates bombing the turrets if there are a lot of players online. I did manage to get an MPB of the vehicle pad without dieing from the drop, but you can not take it to close to the other bases because of the Turrets won't let it deploy. The vehicles nor the vehicle pad are likely to last long, Being so close to the other bases. I think it would have been better since you can spawn at the capturable base, for it to be a little farther away. Since any vehicle will get you back in action soon anyway. Watch out for Flag rushers at start. Only a single jump will make it. But that can be fun.
