Capture the Flag Lush Raining

A balanced CTF map in a swamp during a heavy rainstorm. The heavy fog makes it dangerous to fly at low levels, and the high floodwaters make it difficult to travel on land. (There is also the occasional lightning strike, so be careful) The environment allows for some strategies that may not be available in other maps. 4 flag captures to win. Another note- the MPB is available for construction, but it's very dangerous to attempt to drive it because even a slight pothole can submerge it enough to make it explode. There's a big payoff though- if put in a good position, the MPB's inventory station can be extremely useful, and the turret will be extremely effective because enemy vehicles will not be able to see or outmaneuver the missiles.

Very well built, having a little bit of water with some deep parts is quite good. Also, the bases are under a KM apart which is good, most maps I see now are like 2Km apart. I will host any map for you now. Email me whenever.

I liked this map mostly due to it's enviornment. The water, as mentioned below, was realistic for a swamp. The fog and occasional lightning strikes add to the swamp-like atmosphere making visibility low. The flags are easy to grab so quick defenses are necessary for victory. Reminds me of Dagobah, or however you spell it, except with less trees.

I liked this map a lot, it was a great place to play with a lot of people , lots of action. Using the tanks was great here.

The environment rocks. The fog makes driving the viehicals especially challenging, which makes for more exciting aireal gameplay. The flags reqire quick definse, but that helps the less skilled guys like me get some points in. Very well balanced definsively as well as offinsively. All in all, an excellent map to play on.

I love the map! The bases are pretty well balanced and are accessible. The way the swamp floods certain ski zones adds a twist for the cappers. This a definate must-have for your server.

*looks at pic* ... *thinks* ... It looks like it's impossible to get off the vehicle pad without the jericho getting wet (go boom). It the water swells or something, it would have to do it very slowly... ? I'll play it when I get home. :^)

Well, the water's just a few inches deep off the vehicle pad, so the MPB might get a little damp but not wet enough to cause any problems. :P

After playing it, I realize that the MPB works just fine. :^) The concept is a great one indeed... I'd have liked a bid denser fog, but that's just a preferance for something like this... great job. The deep and shallow water sections do indeed make for some very interesting places to go.

The look of the map is awesome, lots of water nicely placed, not much in the way of turrets, just MHO. Not a revoultiary map but still a good one.

Though i did like the feel of the map (very nicly done on the swamp). I didn't like that there was 5 turrets per team. It almost makes it into a siege base. Good job overall, i would suggest it to people :)

Wow. I played this on a "pickup" game a few weeks ago, and forget to comment. This map really surprised me in terms of the gameplay. The environment is superb and the gameplay is surprisingly fast given its siege elements, since the flag is kinda below the rim of the surroundings. This one really oughta get more attention out there.

Sweet map, loved it everything from the water to selection of bases. only thing is that i dont really like the vehicle pad under water, dont know why really just do. The effect with fog isnt like some maps and the mapper did a great job with it. the main thing though i think there is to much 'base' you only need one base maybe a flag base if you want but having a invo base/flagbase/defence base on some maps i have seen gets to hard to find were things are :(...
