Capture and Hold Capture the Flag Other Storming
The Bioderms invented a system to absorb the power right from
a planet's life systems. This planet used to be a lush forest,
and now look at the carnage.
But this machinery has a reverse switch.
Control the Planetsucker complex and you can save this planet!
Howl of the Yeti is a "melee" CTF and CnH map, with both teams' bases very close together, and surrounding a center objective building.
The map was inspired by the amazing colours and sharpness of my new Samsung 570V TFT display.
Thanks to clan +|TBF|+ for testing. Dedicated to the Tribes2Maps.com
community and all former Dynamix employees.
Tested on the Shifter mod for T2 but works great with any mod.

Add CommentOne thing I forgot to mention
by Author's Note on August 10, 2001 Permalink · Rating:One thing I forgot to mention, I left-out the bot support because I just couldn't get them to behave. Seems the bots don't understand forecefields... it turned into an intergalactic kegger, they would just sit around having brews :) I even tried tweaking 'em but no luck, sorry.

Jedi runs the biggest Shifter
by Author's Note on August 17, 2001 Permalink · Rating:Jedi runs the biggest Shifter server right now and when I played Howl on his server with 40 players, it went about 2 fps for me... guess the bases are too close for some situations, but it was still a blast to play and was a close game (nobody was complaining but me :p) I appreciate the reviews gents !! keep 'em coming :)

Author's update, I upgraded
by Lexor on November 5, 2001 Permalink · Rating:Author's update, I upgraded my PC recently and the map played fine on Jedi's =H|C=Parthenon. However there are still others that have bad fps so I still recommend the map for smaller (=24) servers.
