Capture the Flag Lush Raining

Plains of Despair is yet another map for those who like strategy. The map is set on the site of an 8 year civil war now finished, leaving many corpses scattered on the battlefield. All of these corpses (except the one stuck on the pyramid) can be raided for ammo and repair patches, so be on the lookout for them if needed. Flags are situated in small broken-topped towers with a no-team blue ff guarding it from air grabs ONLY. This ff, along with the crow's nest ones, are generated by a tower generator. Furthermore, there is a capturable pyramid (as said earlier) with a maze of traps and tunnels leading to the switch (one of which fires on friend or foe alike). Good Luck!

Nice map, but I found a few bugs in it. I liked the pyramid you put in the middle of the field. That dead guy must be having a hard time up there.. hehe. Quite a maze in the pyramid if you ask me. :) Inside the pyramid I found alot of hidden terrain at one place (I suggest your enable "show terrain inside building" and track it down). I suddenly started to walk up a invisible hill inside the base. And the sentry turret at the top entrace seems to be pissed at everyone, even after you have touched the switch. And in the switch room, the grey walls doesn't match very well. I suggest you exchange it with something better (like the ones you used elsewhere). I would probably have given this map a bit better grade if I didn't find those bugs. You should beta test your map a bit more.. especially when doing underground bases. Enabled "show terrain inside building" to spot such bugs. Just trying to help out :) Fix these bugs.. you're not the only one. I find bugs in my maps as well.. heh.
Anyway, this map is best suited for many players (30+) imo.

Yes, I found those bugs myself, and here's my comment on them. This was my "see what happened if you put a flying base in the ground" map, and as a result alot of bugs came up, but many i left since they would be "interesting." (Like the ghost wall station, which is hard to plant a fusion mortar on, and the one in the gens room I just left since it was small). Anyway, the bugs are there, and will stay there since there is really no way to resubmit a map here without adding a "2." And PS, it's a server side map, not client (that submitter was a bit screwy). Thx.

You can resubmit a map by mailing it to Bytor, then add a comment when it's updated. But it might take awhile sometimes, as he's quite busy.

Well, I fixed any bugs I could find myself (I don't have many map testers. After all, I'm not that gr8 a mapper o_0)Anyway, thx for the advice and the time on yer part Dark, bytor should fix the link soon :)

Alright, Bytor fixed the link, so everything should be peachy... Hmmm, no one seems to see my maps, maybe it's b/c I'm a new mapper, or those DNS errors... oh well o_0

Well the one I looked at just now was downloaded a while ago so it still has those bugs in my version. I like how to mixed the structures to create the main base. The tilted flag towers make it interesting when the top FF is still up. The constant howling inside the pyramid made me edgy when tho I knew nothing would happen. It must've been the memories of the tombs in Act 2 of diablo2 that jolted me. /me hides.
