Capture the Flag Volcanic Clear Night

This map started out as a copy of NoRail (from Tribes 1), but since there are no built-in moving platforms, and I did not want to do any programming, I came up with this idea. There is a 'sidewalk' that allows one to walk between bases & center platform. But, before your team can walk on it, you must claim the switch on center platform! There is no ground, per se, so jetting is very important.

What a great map! I luv the middle capture with lava all around. I had a ball defending the middle then snipin the shazbot out of anyone trying to reclaim it. Flag placement is nice too! PLZ D/L THIS ONE!

hmm...I a 40 man server....like the one i played 10 mins ago this map becomes hell...

the middle objective is way to hard to control with so many morters....

I may see what i can do with the map.

Of all the tribes2 maps I've played, I like this one the least. I just came from a server with 32 people, and with a constant stream of mortars and missles directed on that center platform, no one was holding it for long. The result was a static game in which nothing much happened but bombardment, and the occasional attacks by lone cappers who were quickly chewed to pieces or elfed into the lava. The center platform desperately needed walls to protect from bombardment imho(although that would probably make it impposible to retake after one team had entrenched themselves there).
To be fair, I suppose this map could work in games of 10 people or less.
