Capture the Flag Lush Storming

My first CTF map, simple base layout vehicle pad, main base with flag in semi enclosed space with 2 ways to get it. Solar Panels on top of main base control forcefields which block 2 other ways to get the flag. Main Base partially underwater, water is different actually allows one to accelerate underwater. Each base has two seperately powered turrets with their gens out in the open.

Great map. Played on a server where the physics were really wacky (dont think it was the map). This is fast and furious, with a simple yet very nice environment. Power structure (gens, FFs, etc) makes for fun tactics, and the subtle rock placements show real thought. Great job.

The water is interesting since it acts just like regular air. You can continue to ski in the river so it is kind of strange at first. I don't think you need so many gens. The 2 in the bottem of the base can be taken out. Link the 2 invs to the solars and it would be good to go (imo). Despite the forcefields and the 2 base turrets, the D will have a hard time since the solars and the 2 gens powering the turrets (and a bunch of invs) are in the open. Fun map.

Another fine job by Slamscape. I really like the whole map and can't think of anything to complain about. The water in the base adds to the niceness and I can imagine having a duel in there with the enemy...that'd be awesome! Nice spacing, great job once again!

Very nice. Nothing is overdone, and the attention to detail is excellent. Superb use of existing prefabs. I'm guessing that recent changes in the game [patches] have made the water a little too good, since I could jet from the water in front of one base to the other base in a light [water sorta squirts you out now]...mediums and heavies were also a little too mobile. The forcefields should be covering the other pair of entrances.

The terrain, and overall atmosphere, are excellent, as is the item placement. Definitely a quality map.

Overall, very polished and fun! :o)

Actually the water was intended to be like that. Just was trying different things, wanted you to have the option to go on foot or fly over to the other base.
