Forest Valley is the 5th map I've created. Gained loads of experience in interiors making Arid, and this map is a revitalisation of my first map, ForestValley - which was too poor to release! The map has some tightly defended bases, 2 km apart on a densely wooded valley, across a long expanse of water.

To boost FPS, I made the fog fairly strong on the map. this makes stealth the key in this mission, and suprise attacks a good idea.

For Eons the two Tribes have fought. Draining the resources of the planet till it was nothing but a metal shell over the hot magma and core of the planet. The battle raged till the planet itself could no longer hold out. The metal shell began to melt and cracks formed. Hot magma bubbled just below the surface.

This is the first of a couple of maps based on a small theme. In this map I have made my own texture for the ground.

I made the mistake of not crediting the authors of the custom objects and to this I apologize.

This is the updated Map with the proper credits. It also has the texture issue with the terrain.

There is a main base which was done by the group that made the Adumla Hills Single Player maps. The flag sits back from there and is not totally covered but also not totally covered.

The drop ships above are by EEPROM and have 2 Inventories in them as well.

If I missed anyone in crediting this map please e-mail me and let me know soonest so I can update the credits.

No this was not drug induced.

In a haze of a 14 hour day I came up with an Idea. I found some nice coloring for the terrain and that led me to the fact this is going to be client side. So I adjusted the terrain a little more added the external bases and looked around. I saw that what I had created was good and decided to share with everyone.

Take a close look at Picture of the Turret. The Plasma Turret has a piggybacked AA turret they both work

Blind Man's Bluff is based off a concept from Tribes 1 that I did. It was popular then and hopefully people will like this map as well. The name says it all. Visibility is Limited to about 10 meters. Some Items have been placed near the flag but otherwise it is pure spawn. I hope you enjoy this map as much as I do and others who have playtested it for me did.
