Siege Lush Clear Client Side

This is my first publicly released Client Side map. The name “Volucer” is a Latin word meaning “to fly”. I thought this title described the map aptly, due to its gameplay characteristics.

The attackers start in a floating base, high above a volcano. The base is an interesting combination of platforms, paths and buildings. Players have a choice between using one of six chutes (which are positioned so perfectly, players can land on the other team’s doorstep with ease) and one of two vehicle pads (one even lets you fly down in a grav cycle.) There are two Generators (Primary and Secondary) located on smaller islands that keep the FF over the volcano running. Each of the Generators has a corresponding Solar Panel, which can be destroyed in order to let players kill the Gen from the outside as well. Once the two Gens are down, players then drop into the volcano. There, they have to destroy another Generator (a simple task) which grants them access to the Switch room. Once the Solar Panel placed there is destroyed, the attackers can then capture the Switch.

All the building configurations (platform and FF placement to form more intricate structures) were made by me. This was no simple task considering that rotating and aligning FFs is about as nice and simple as a stroll through hell. If you choose to use any of the designs included here, please credit me with them.

Last of all: Enjoy the map!

Mind if i put my 2 cents in? Its a cool map. Most people see the red check mark and think "WOW! COOL! New objects!! Im gettin this!!!" Then they see that it is just a new terrain and DL it, but not leave a comment. Im going to be nice;) and leave a comment. ITs a cool map. I still have yet to DL your 2 different versions of Caldera.
