I've always wanted to see what the Minotaur setup would look like on a different world, so, I set about to do it. Actually, it was just a spur of the moment thing, and took me about an hour and a half, but actually, I think it turned out pretty good, and after playing it with some friends, we all found it to be extremely fun, just like Minotaur.
Each team has a main base, which floats a few feet from the ground. The main bases contain two generators each, and the flags are in the middle on the first level. There is a forcefield between the flags and the generators, so one must use the chutes just inside the entrances to gain access to the generators to destroy them. But once the generators are down, the forcefield goes down as well. There is only one sentry in each base, defending the flags.
A small ways from each base are the towers, which contain two inventories and one repair pack each. Access to the inventories and the repair packs is walled by "All-Pass Slow" Forcefields, just as in Minotaur. All in all, we all had a blast on this small, Minotaur wanna-be map, and I hope you do to.

Add CommentI don't know.... It really
by Echo Storm on March 3, 2002 Permalink · Rating:I don't know.... It really didn't have the feel of minotaur.... I guess the lack of a tunnel and the fact that there were no "walls" that surrounded the two main bases that sorta kept everyone in. Also the bases were just too big.
Ignore him, people that rate
