Originally the objective was to revise a base map to make it stable for Meltdown2 gameplay. However, it turned into an all around map for any mod.
Overall, it is an old map with a new style and approach to the gameplay. It features more base turret's, relocated gen's, more sensors, relocated flag, increased flight ceiling, and a defensive tower. The key enhancement is the change of gamplay. One gen controls forcefields to the flag and the Primary Gen's. So, more team work is essential.

I hate the original thin ice

My suggestions:
Remove all turrets, have 1 at the most. Remove vehicles, put the bases 500m apart. Put the falg out in the open, away from turrets. But even then, I still think thin ice is beyond saving. Good try though.

by _Tex on May 8, 2002 Permalink · Rating:I personally love Thin Ice and every aspect of it, the only reason I rated this A- instead of A+ something is that, on all the servers I run, I've NEVER once seen this map capped out, which means *in general* the flag is already too difficult to grab. However, in the particular mod you mentioned, this may not be the case, so I felt you deserved an A something.
