Capture the Flag Lush Raining Client Side
I got the idea for this map while playing Damnation. It occurred to me while playing the map that the base should be harder to rape and camp, but not impossible, and the flag should be easier to attain. Something that makes the defense work harder than just elfing a capper into the water.
Well, here it is. The 9th map I've created (second to be submitted). Hope it's perfect.
I made both teams as balanced as I could, although some minor terrain imperfections keep it from being a balanced map. The flag is out in the open atop a hill, with four base entrances and a rearward base turret surrounding it. Cappers are visible from every direction, but don't let that fool you. Escape routes can be found in every direction as well. In addition, it is easy to spam the flag area from mid-map. With so many flat surfaces for clamps to be attatched too, coordinated offense is a must.
Inside, base power is provided by two generators, which in turn are protected by two force-field generators. Much like a siege map, you must destroy one set before the other. There are sentry turrets defending the two primary entrances which will help some, and using the secondary entrances will surely gain a defenders attention (as well as any turrets that are placed).
Finally, a waterblock was added at the last minute to give defenders a bit of an advantage. Though there isn't much water down the middle, should a capper choose to escape any other direction it could prove fatal.

Cause its circa 200-300 meters uphill to any entrance of the nme base, any ld with an elf could easily own a HO. Nice skiing, nice terrain, 4 freakin gens, open flag rawks. Those sentry turrets suck btw. I think its an overall strong map which would throw out some promising gameplay.
