Capture the Flag Badlands Clear Night

Dark, quiet, poised for chaos. Just like the derms. I built this map envisioning what I think are some derm characterictics. The plants are like the derms themselves, engineered. Look forward to seeing more derm plants in the tribes world, or...at least in my maps. The inventory stations are inside shielded bunkers, you must claim them to use them, but claiming them kills you. Thus, you are not claiming them for yourself, you are doing it for the team, or the horde, as the case may be. To win a battle you can't fight alone, you must be a team. This map encourages team tactics. The flags are side by side, with a shield between them. You can constantly see the enemy flag defenses. The low areas are filled with a layer of thick black smoke from the derm engineering factories. Smoke provides excellent cover.

If the enemy controls all the bunkers, you have no power to your flag sentries.

To admins: please keep the teams numerically even, because if one team can afford to throw people at the bunkers all match, and the other team can't, it's going to be a one sided victory.

Great job mallak. Ive had the opportunity to play this map with a number of players and I must say, despite the close proximity of the flags It plays great. It is most certainly not an easy cap, although there are some tactics which can speed up the process(you know what i mean mallak). I love the whole concept behind the switch script and the plants and trees are a nice touch. heh Without a doubt this map deserves an A+

Nice looking plants, that's got to be a first. It definately seems to have that entire, "Where are the- OH DEAR GOD!! THAT DERM JUST KILLED CHARLIE!!!! NOOOO!!!" type look to it. Nice and dark and gloomy... }:)
