Arena Capture the Flag Desert Clear Bots

Legends of the bounteous treasure hidden in the desert Labyrinth of Nimba-9 are well known in the Outer Territories. Also well known is the curse of the Labyrinth; all who enter will never find the exit. Two parties of warrior-explorers entered the labyrinth, convinced that this curse was mere superstition. Only now, they are beginning to believe...

See, this is like what i think a new gametype should be, some type of "maze" race where everyone races for the exit. I dunno about the Arena capabilities with this map though... CTF should be fun with plenty of areas for the Jericho (if available) or other minibases

I liked the idea of this map. The every item works. But there are some problems. 1) This is minor, but the center objective could really use a waypoint. This will allow you to monitor who has possession of the objective. 2) It is also very tight for even medium sized teams. And there could be a big problem with log jams. 3) The vehicles become a problem. They can block movement, and use up others time/space. This map probably works good as an arena. But it should be bigger or have more routes for CTF. Maybe open another entrance or have a tunnel connect to the base? I give this about an 86\% (for CTF).

When i was originally thinking of this map, i was going to make it a lot bigger, but didn't because mainly of FPS probs. But i guess it would be crowded with a lot of people there( while i was beta testing it, i had no more than 5 at once, including bots). As for the capturable not having a waypoint, it was intentional cuz you have to search for it. If i waypointed it, it would kinda defeat the purpose of hiding it in a maze.

I personally liked this map a lot, it has plenty to do (Please oh please god, get me out of this maze!!! I'm going crazy!!!), flying a shrike around is fun and helps you to show off your pilot skills (if you have any...), and still keeps the FPS level nice. My first run through i accidently stumbled upon the middle base before my base... One odd thing, the entrances to the bases (middle and one of the sides, can't remember which...) are "covered" up by the terrain, so some may think that you can't get into them. It's nothing really (makes for some good SS!). one more thing: if you want to get the idea on what a Driver's Ed final test is like, try driving a jericho around in the maze!
