One of these aspects is the distance between switches. Each switch is probably 1000m away from any other switch which would make this map very vehicle-centric. This is a good thing because you _have_ to use vehicles to get around because touching the acid 'releases' your spirit. This essentially means you get a nice view of nothing for 5 seconds after which you can respawn.
LakeAcid does not consist of much besides bases floating in the acid. There are five switches total. The more switches your team holds, the faster you collect points. The first to 6000 wins. Players will find that objectives are captured and lost very quickly because the switches are easy to access. Some of the switch bases have inventories where you can get 'farming' equipment and set up defenses if you wish. However, considering there are five switches and limits to spike turrets (no land on the map) those defenses will either be all in one place or spread thin. In either case, they will not be of much use.
A team's best bet is to send 1-2 people to each switch and have them defend it. Wildcats seem to work best when moving from switch to switch because they do not have the nasty habit of killing themselves if you eject while moving. However, bombers can do wonders clearing a switches for capture.
This is a nice simple map that made me consider playing more C&H (if only more servers ran it).
