Yes, a good bombadier deserves credit, don't get me wrong, but the TRUE credit belongs to the Pilot and Tailgunner.

One aspect that may affect gameplay is that vehicles have a reccuring tendancy to get stuck in the force field that is only a short distance off of the pad. Even sometimes I wouldn't touch the forcefield yet for somereason my plane would get stuck. Everything else seemed to be fine except for some problems with the item placement. Overall I believe that this map would be great on a server with many people, but loses most of its potential with fewer players (such as LAN parties.)

Ack, i love the anti-bomber cover over the vbay! You also seem to have been influenced by Necrobones's (Necrobones'? Necrobone's? *shrugs*) with that gunship floating in the water. You didn't copy it so that's fine and dandy, i like to see innovation in maps! Necro's Carrier Strike really is a double sided sword with people, but i love the carriers and i suspect i'll love this one too! :p

The map was intended for Houston Vehicles, 60 players makes for lots of fighting.
The correct version has been sent in, and should be fixed anytime now. Let's hope.

by _Tex on April 26, 2002 Permalink · Rating:WOW! I finally added this to my server Houston Vehicles last night. Talk about a success. The map was played MANY times, and everyone loved it. Makes me feel good. Capping the flag was almost forgotten altogether as bombers and havocs loaded with crews filled the skies just to do combat. Sure, I know it's a CTF map, but it turned into a combat map. I love it. This is what I was hoping would happen when this map came into play. Thanks everyone for your support.
