Castles is a lush map with a twist... It has castles (or as close as I could get with what I had). I tried to give it a medieval theme. Also there is a capturable objective between the 2 castles that gives you 2 Catapults (mortar turrets) and 2 sensors. This is also where the only repair pack is contained. Have fun!!!

I think you should take out one of the sentries in the flag/gen room. Also, remove the inexplicable solar panel on the inferno side.

by Spinfusor Salad on July 19, 2001 Permalink · Rating:a little more work and this would have been an A map....first why did u even plce an objective there?...hell the odds of keeping MORTER turrets in open air for more than a minute is REALLY REALLY BAD...one touch of the switch by an enemy and an odd...rare...and even decent group of objectice defnders is turned into kibble as the morter turrets kill them....NOT A GOOD IDEA!...what could have saved it is a fort...midevil fort whatava..in fact that would be pretty cool...make an alamo type fort in the midle and decrese the distance between bases alot.....OBJECTIVES SHOULD ALWAYS BE DEFENDABLE!!!!!!!! ALWAYS! fort....FORTS!...open air may sound frantic and cool but it really turs out quite lame.....GET A TOWER IN THERE! and give it some team FFs...

by ArmyMage on July 20, 2001 Permalink · Rating:LOL, i didn't include a fort, i managed to keep a group of my friends away from the switch the eintire game by just throwing a spinfusor at he switch when they ran to get it, it forced them back and then the motars finished them. its your job to defend, not he fort's. I may add a revision of this map... it is after all only my second
