BattleRoom-The legendary training center for Interstellar soldiers, renowned for turning llama cadets into skilled fighters.
When soldiers enter battleroom they are immediately suprised by the sudden change in physics. The room's gravity has been decreased to a near anti-grav like state.
The Battleroom is totally enclosed; its walls form a circular shape. Stars (floating cubical structuresa)provide the only real cover the room offers.
This map tests the genius of the clan leader. Although the arena is small, the sheer number of strategies available is uncountable. The clan is only as strong as it's plan...
Based on "Ender's Game." Pick this book if you have a chance, its well worth the read.
Feedback, bugs, and questions are always welcome.

Oh well, judging as mine is going to be CTF/CnH/whatever methinks it won't come in conflict, but I wish you would have told me that you were planning to use the idea. Oh well....
Btw, did Riatha give you the hook code as well, and did you implement Zero Gravity?
I told you in the forums.
by FlyingElmo on November 10, 2001 Permalink · Rating:I told you in the forums. Besides, I created this 3 mission months ago and just now finished bug testing it. So its not like I "suddenly" decided to do this kind of map.
I'm real satisfied the the results though. The map went through 4 different versions; I had about 40 testers, the majority of which decided this was a good final version.
No hook code is implemented. I was having problems with it so opted not to include it. Peace.

by DragonGuru on May 6, 2004 Permalink · Rating:I love Ender's Game. It was one of the best books I've ever read. The series has now expanded if anyone doesnt know and includes a few books (I think 3 or 4) including Ender's Shadow [The book about Bean].
I must say this was fun to live the experience of someone else's point of view of how it looked but it was a little bare of things for my taste.Keep up the great maps.
