Capture the Flag Deathmatch Volcanic Clear Bots Client Side Night

Small, and to the point. The larger parts of the base are closed off via forcefield to keep the action on the surface.

I'm my own worst critic. There was an early version of this map that is available on several other sites. So if you see the map advertised for play but can't get in, its likely a server admin that has not yet updated.

I liked this map. The gens were close to the front which made defending them a priority. The map is almost big enough for vehicles but I agree that it did not need them to be fun to play. Good defense is important on this map since objectives are easily assessable and will be attacked early.

The map has a nice layout, but there's something very wrong with the mission goals, as soon as one or the other team touches their opponent's flag, the game ends. Were it not for that one big bug, I think it would be a very good map.

Has anyone else experienced this error? I wiped my tribes directory, reinstalled and downloaded the map from this site. I then played through a five capture match with a friend and some bots. I would be interested
in other reports of this...
You might try to change your .mis file. As of now it is set to take the default number of captures from your server settings. You can explicitly state the number by adding the following..

CTF_scoreLimit = "5";

It will look something like this...

new SimGroup(MissionGroup) {

CTF_scoreLimit = "5";

};

The previous problem is a side effect of the new version of Tribes2. I have sent a corrected zip file to Bytor asking that he post its link. This problem is corrected by following the advice of the previous comment and adding the CTF limit to the missiongroup simgroup. Shame on me for using what I thought was a feature of the CTF gametype.
