Capture the Flag Snow Snowing Client Side Custom Textures Custom Shapes

...yeeeeah...anyway it IS a simple map and we hope it is fun for everyone. Bases are far apart
flags are defended by AA turrets but dont worry differrent ways around it. Raised the vehicles limits to keep it fast. Oh yeah, watch out for the ice...it's cooold!

We wanted to make a map that gave a damn good challenge to players to get the flag, and to take out the base.
And the reason for "textures" being
large/scaled is to keep the lag down.
We did not go for "eye candy" much
to ALSO...keep lag down. All we did was want to make a fun but Teamwork based map and I think with my friend TribalMa5ter we did that. But cant make everyone happy. And we wanted to make it all vehicle oriented. There are many places to set up a small base around were the islands are/ or for mods...it would be teleporters.
If your good with vehicles then this map is will be to your likeing. Well have FUN! but personaly, Uranium-235
maybe water maps is not your thing.
But hay!!! Every map is not going to be perfect everytime, for anyboby, maps would never be done.

I have fallen into my darker side.

Prefabs:I saw many places where textures could of been better chosen, and where they were stretched too much, in addition, the carriers were really not that complex, and could of been better, although really since this seems the first time to have released a map...I'll give you an extra .5... 1.5===================Map Layout:Very difficult to get from one place to another with anything but vehicles due to the scripted water damage...2=================Terrain:nice little hills sticking out of the water...2==================creativity:Good try, and it is creative, although it would need more work...3====================Eyecandy: not much...1===================Gameplay: if it's almost impossible to get the flag without using a vehicle, it's pretty pointless. You should of thought of using a teleport in the middle objective...2

WOW! This mission is nice. The ice and the whole visual apeal is awsome. The bases are great and how there differnet kick ass ships. The flag is hard to cap though with the two AA turrets, but obvisously its alot easier when you destroy that flag gen. Though killing there main base is a WHOLE lot harder. Being there 2 AA turrets and how everything is basicly flying on the water. But all in all I think this map is one of the best all water maps/ship maps Ive seen.

I just finished playing it, and it rocks! The custom buildings (or ships) are great! Keep up the good work, and you'll give a lot of people good competition.

Holey ****... that is one nice looking aircraft carrier... I see that you also got some influence from the one Star Trek movie where Kirk and co. try to get a whale from the earlier version of earth (or at least pic 2 looks like a Star Trek ship... :p ) my only dismay is that i CAN'T TEST/PLAY ON IT UNLESS |TE|KIKIN PUTS IT ON HIS SERVER. :( Dam UE's keep poping up now whenever i try to host a LAN or online server....

This is a really great and imaginary map and you’ve used custom interiors to create the ships and all, I also like this idea of the water being too cold for the amour to with stand it. Lot a people gona get hyperthermia in this map. Good job.

I'm a huge fan of water based maps, and really liked the unique theme of this map. However, this is one of those maps that looks great, but lacks in gameplay balance. For Example, you can't really travel undewater. The minute you hit it you begin taking damage. This limits mobility. Secondly, there is no way to travel from the objective or the flag ship, as there is no vehicle pad there. Basically you're stranded unless sombody comes by to pick you up. I could see a whole lot of cntrl-k'ing on this map, because of this. My recommendations would be lose the water damage, allow under water travel and put another vehicle pad on the flag ship. By increasing the mobility across this very large map, you'd get better gameplay.

Still, it looks great and is very clean.

Buahahahahahahahahahaha!!!! I'm baaaack! Since it's late here and i want to review it NOW while it's still fresh in my mind so i can recall things i may not have put in my notes, i'll keep it short and sweet. :p I love the theme of the map. PLENTY of places for spider-clamp turrets (sorry to all you land-spike turret farmers out there, you're out of a job...). The bases really didn't bother me that the texture was streached, it kept the FPS level up nice and high. Two small things (one to the guy who complained that there's no way to travel underwater), one is that you *AHEM* CAN TRAVEL UNDERWATER. You just need a shrike or another air vehicle! (albet it's next to impossabe to see anything in that thick pea-soup you call water... :p J/k). Second is an interesting glitch i noted, you can fire missiles in a base game underwater (and if that's not odd enough) without any type of lock-on. Go ahead, try it if you don't belive me... :p
