This is a map that seems to divide the playing field into seperate "zones of battle", each centering around either the center (consisting of a large, custom shape in the air), or one of the inventory stations on the borders of the mission area. Each inventory is within a different base.
The map seems to take the "ruined base" approach to mapping.. none of the interiors (save one bunker) are set up straight into the ground.. with skewed building placement, a low, light fog layer and some nicely done ambient noises, it really does seem like you're wandering the remains of some lost city.. add to that the huge player shapes (of which there are three sets, a woman warrior, three juggernaughts, and a dead warrior right in the center of the map, complete with his own heartbeat) which seem to be overlooking the match from the out-of-bounds, and it lapses almost into surreal.
Given that, the slanted and tipping structures are often hard to enter, especially when people try to enter. (when the inventory station is inside one, for example) I can't remember how many (lame) kills I had with the grenade launcher, just because the person I was gunning down got caught on a ledge that was turned off-center.
Snipers shouldn't have too much of a problem on this map. Not only do they have the chance to get armed at a station, but the custom in the center has two sniper rifles, just in case you spawn closer to there than anywhere else. I was continually being taken out by Star, whom I must say seems pretty good with the darn rifle.. the visibility seems to be fairly high.. enough to allow sniping, while not making the map seem to be "clear day.
The giant body of a dead warrior on the ground in the center provides a way to hide from the casual eye.. if you are far enough away not to get an IFF put on you, you will escape notice from your pursuers, which is fairly helpful, especially if you aren't too good at deathmatch, as I am.
Overall, from what I've taken away from my DM experience, this is a map that should please most players. Skiiable terrain, decent visibility, great ambience, liberally scattered helth boosts and tactifully placed interiors to duel around make for a good play.
