Map Details for Marauder |

This is a my fifth map, took me the better part of a week to create and problem solve everything so i hope you enjoy it. Each team starts with a base nestled into the mountain, inventories are easy to find and turrets are well placed; each team has one large plasma turret and three sentries. A forcefield bridge spans over the lava between the 3 islands, over the center island there is a platform that provides a good tactical advantage and gives a controlling edge over the center. It takes a little work to capture it from the other team but is nothing too hard. The combat atmosphere is i think the best in all my maps yet, the screenies explain it better. Grade: B+ » Submitted by Jambon on 02/01/03I think the map really needs vehicles. Having just a FF bridge to and from a base leads to sniper heaven- which could make one team stuck in their base almost indefinitely. All in all though, it's not too bad of a map. |

The flag room is very easy to defend. Mounting a huge force is impossible due to the distance and walking space that the teams have at their disposal.
