Map Details for Consuming Fire

"Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our God is a Consuming Fire." - Hebrews 12:28-29

This is my first completed attempt at a map worth mentioning. (I had a map that helped me learn the editor way back when) It took me a while to complete because of various reasons, but here it is, a finished product.

The attackers start out at an open base, and must either attack the Forcefield Base or the Main Base. The Forcefield Generator powers the forcefields guarding entrance to the Main Base Generators, but you may access much of the Main Base without the Forcefield Generator powered down. When both Main Base Generators go down, you can cap.

As a defender, you will either spawn at the Forcefield base or the Main Base. Set up your defenses quickly, because the Offense Base is a short distance away. Your only sources of defense are a sensor and turret at the Forcefield Base.

That's about it, I hope you enjoy this map! Please give appropriate comments and feedback. Until next time, SkaMaster

**Please note: To play this map on a server, you must have the Dynamix Final Pack downloaded if you do not have the map itself downloaded.**

Red Shifter is a Lord of Siege.. listen to him and you will go far. =) Seriously.. he probly has a reason for saying what he did. If you don't understand.. PM him or something, and find out what's up. Then you can exactly fix it. ;)

Okay, so it has good gameplay. I'm glad to know that you think so. But what's so hard about moving heavies? Sure, you have to climb a hill to get to the main base, and there isn't a great ski route to the FF base, but there isn't supposed to be, because the bases are very close together. I mean, if you were absolutely terrible at moving yourself around as a heavy, it would still take far less time to get to either base than on say, Respite or Patience. The distance is pretty short to both bases.

In all, I never really liked this map. It has good gameplay and all, but it's just so hard to move heavies around.

Yes, it's also the name of a Third Day song, and that song was based off of the verse at the top of the page. Glad to hear you liked it.
