I always liked the Alcatraz base, but I didn't like how it played in Siege with 2 different openings. So I blocked one of them off and put the Control Switch there. There are a total of four geerators. The Entrance Gen is irrepairable and must be down to gain access to the base. The Main FF Gen powers 3 FFs, 2 in the main room and 1 guarding the Switch Gen. Then the Switch Gen powers a FF blocking the Switch. The Supply Gen isn't an important asset to win, it just powers most of the turrets, sensors, and stations. Happy hunting. |

This is nothing like Alcatraz, I used the Riverdance terrain, I didn't even model it after Alcatraz, sorry if I was a little vague. Grade: B+ » Submitted by paint_it_black on 09/02/02This map has some nice touches. I do like the attackers new base, and I like how you haven't blatantly (or at all) used the terrain of alcatraz. However, I do not understand why people have a thing for changing Alcatraz. I think its a great map as it is! (provided the defence are organised) The map isnt bad, I like it ( b is above average!X) ) but I don't think it's neccessary to change alcatraz. |

Apologies. In all fairness I should've knocked the mark up a bit. The reason I gave it a B was that I have memories of DSEZ "Alcatraz Advanced". In reflection, your map is nothing like Alcatraz, except for the main base.
