***Note: this edition of Convoy is not fit for match play as second-half vehicles begin as neutral until piloted by the defense. Normal gameplay should remain largely unaffected by this.

Convoy is a vehicle-centric, team-oriented mission. Both offense and defense have objectives: Offense- Kill all enemy MPB's (each one acts as a generator) to expose the switch. Defense- Either protect the MPB's for the full time of the match or drive at least one of them to the stonghold at Neothgard. Oh, and don't drive out of bounds, or the MPB will start taking damage.

MPB's are the most difficult object in the game to kill. Extensive teamwork is required to take them out, and similar teamwork is neccessary in protecting these mobile objectives.

This map comes as one of 5 new Siege maps which hopefully will take siege to a whole new level of interest and enjoyment.

Well, Verna, i haver made it to the Neothgard on several occations. It all depends on how much protection your team give you if you are driving an MPB. I also depends if you know the way there. I already know that the terrain is the SlapDash terrain, so all you have to do is find where the MPB's start, and do a guess and test on routes to the Neothgard. As for putting in brigdes, i believe the map is fine the way it is. Just guess and test to find the right path to the Neothgard.

I would really like to know what coding you used so that the MPB's act as generators. Overall, it is my favorite siege mission ever. Keep on pumping out those great maps!

This is a great new concept for siege, having it to where the defenders can do something besides sit and guard the switch. There are some problems, however, like people hiding mpbs and such. I'm not sure, but maybe you could have made a script that damaged the mpb if it sat deployed for too long. That way, people would have to try to get it to neothgard instead of just hiding them. But, I still like this map a lot and it is a great new idea. Keep it up.

OMG This map rocks! This is by far one of my favorite new maps. Shrikes and someone watching the CC can make really help find the MPBs in the fog. A great teamwork map, though I would prefer a bit more meeting with attackers, maybe them having to repair a gen or something. But thats probably just me.

Amazing map!!!!! The only real problem is both teams running out of shrikes, and then some idiot just sits on the vpad station waiting for one to be available. And it is easy to get to Neothgard, just long and you need to know the way. But shrikes aren't that much of a concern if you've got any escort at all.

we just passed this mission today and played nonstop

I give it a B for a well thought out map. The only problem is that its hard to get to Neothgard because the MPB cant make it over some of the more rugged terrain. And because of this, people just hide the MPBs under some fog. When this happening, it is very boring and hard, and people are just fighting around the switch because either they don't know where the MPB is or it is too hard to get too.Maybe some bridges over the rugged terrain would help the MPBs get to Neothgard. I haven't seen anyone get an MPB to Neothgard or even close to it. So overall I give it a B

This map rawks. Introduces a completely new concept, theres certain tricks to winning alundra, perhaps just try to hide instead of going for neoguard? Theres plenty of foggy inlets to park a mpb in. And plenty of mpbs have made it to neoguard on geezers siege in the games i've played. All in all, a great map, refreashing change from the regular siege norm.

This map is awsome, and loads of fun to play. That goes for most all of Alingises maps though. The thing is though, is that the mission is either way to easy to way to hard, mostly to easy. Because a shrike can kill down a mpb in a fair amount of time, so the defenders just can't make it. Or getting to Neothgard, which I might add is 4000m away!!! Its to hard cause all the paths in Slap Dash have some bumps and etc. that need bridges or other things. Though I must say when it first got on geezers, I was sitting there refreshing server over and over again, and a split second later it went form 35 to 36. So thats got to prove somthing. Anyway over all its a cool Idea, and if any of your maps to get far it would be this one.

This reminds me of a mission from Star Wars: Rogue Squad. Is that what inspired you to make this map?
