My first map! The world that one of the biggest war missions, Slapdash, was fought on has been flooded due to biochemical waste dumped underground many years ago. Shortly after, groups of warriors came to the planet only to find the old flag towers sticking out of them. Repainting and building sensors and force fields on the flag towers, they later found out the ground was too hard due to chemical processes to remove any of the extra land that had accumulated on the flagtower. They also could not build a base. They packed their bags and left. 10 years later, armed with new 'floating point base' technology, the warriors returned and had build awesomely huge flying fortresses. Then the battle for ownership began.

Wicked, huh? Included in the vl2 is the server-side particle editor, which servers must install to see custom particles in the map (see screenshot). It's not required, but it sure looks nice! Rename particleeditor.vl2.zip to .vl2 and put in the server's gamedata\base directory. I didn't MAKE the particle editor, that credit goes to Mongolopogus (http://mongo6969.tripod.com/mongolopogus/). Awesome water physics. Creative solar panel placement. Bases are kind of boring, but you can't do much with them anyways.

I still don't think you can get such kind of team play in Base to have the gen in that loc.. but if it can work, then it'll be awesome.
