An old Starwolf base, Aedificium, has been taken over by enemy forces. Your mission is to take it back. Destroy the base generators to leave your enemies in the cold, or just blow up the forcefield generators to allow the final rush on the switch. Either way, you'll have one hell of a battle on this frozen rock of a world.

This remake of a map was inspired by Aedificium Deluxe. There are a few new additions here:

1) Attacker's base is much closer to get rid of the long walk. 2) South base has been replaced. 3) South base has traded positions with the Switch base. 4) Hopefully it will be easier to get to the objective now.

Great map... non-linear and optional objectives = cool

Wouldn't change a thing. This map is great because it shys away from the linear "do this then that" fashion of most siege maps. The benefits of destroying the base generators are twofold: They disable forcefields (not the switch ones) and power down the assets of the bases. This will help when the time comes to destroy the FF gens again in the event they are repaired. However, teams that choose to bypass this in favor of a very fast capture have that choice. It is risky, esp if you're racing against the clock, but it's fun either way.

Hurry up and get this on GeeZers Siege. The base change has helped this map sooo much. Leaving the sides open on North base is a definate plus. The top of South being shielded in avoids O mortar spam. And all those plasma turrets on O base will keep the llama O base rappers away. Cool map, can't wait to see it played out on GeeZers.
