This map has map scripts that alow players to transfer up and down like a elevator using beams like in Fountains Of Paradise by: Zear. Except these use stations & triggers to move you when you enter the station. Also has code to link the damage of the top and bottom blocker generators. Now about the map: Each team has a transfer tower, and a air base, the air base is where the flag sits. You can fly there or enter the tower from the bottom, but watch out for the dual sentry turrets blocking the way. Once inside do all the damage you want but make sure you blow the Blocker generator before you transfer up to the air base or your gonna splat & maybe get stuck there. Once you reach the air base you need to destroy 4 solar panels on the roof to take down the force fields blocking the flag bay. You can then grab the flag and and satchel in the corner of the flag bay, blow the blocker generator if needed and transfer down. Or you can fly, but i don't think jumping is smart. |

I played this back when it was released! *smacks self* Ok, right off the bat, this map is much fun. the airbase is a fun area to grab the flag from (a la Fountains of Paradise) and pretty easy to defend the flag too. A small tip for cappers, 1) wait for your HOs to take out most of the defenses in the airbase that the opposing team set up, and 2) USE THE GRAV-LIFT AFTER GRABBING THE FLAG WHEN WITHOUT A VEHICLE! You can survive a drop from the airbase, but you won't have much/any energy left and will probably be in a world of hurt for health. If you must drop, aim for the edge of the lower base (the slanted roof part) and pray you hit the angle correctly. Only a few things are odd to me, a plasma turret guarding the airbase gens? Ow... bad for us cappers/LO. Oh well, both sides have them, so it should hinder your opponents too. Again, great map, a definite download. As for the center base, well this map is really a striped down version of a totally different map i'm about to release called Oil Slicked, it uses the same terrain & center base witch was really a Oil rig not a mining rig, now you have me wondering if i should change that about the other map.. There is something about the layout that makes this map great.In my eyes the distance from one base to the other is perfect, should make for some great ground battles in between the bases. The bridges I thought at first sight were custom interiors but I guess I was wrong. It's apparent that you payed alot of attention to detail on this map.There were two things that kept this map from being an "A " and those were the center objective interior, and the terrain. The terrain I think would have been sweet if it was snow and the interior just didn't seem to fit the map. All in all this is an outstanding map and a job well done. Its a great long range CTF map with exelent scripts. The bottem base isn't very big, which I guess is not a great thing but I love the air base how two vech stations are put together well, and the aspect of destroying 4 solar panels to cap the flag, only thing wrong with this map is with most long range maps, that about no fighting will be going on in between the two bases, and the water in desert looks kinda wierd, but besides that its a superb map, and reminds me alot of Fountains of Paradise. *Me finds bug in Sparky's teleporter script* bug = making juggies invisible when using teleporter pads. Great Job Lucid. I really LOVE the transfure thingys.
