Alright, I put this map together in a couple of days after reading a request for it in another map review. This is an attempt to recreate the ancient roman/greek coliseum's. The true fighting area is a circular arena. On the outside, done more so for eyecandy, there are stadium seats as well as columns in the background. The map starts, you have a 15 second grace period. After the 15 seconds are up the gates open up and you have 15 seconds to leave. Once the gates close you cannot reach the inventory again. I am working on a kill all script for the spawn area(consider it a "getting fed to lions"), yet is buggy at the time being and is not enabled. Consider this map a Beta. I have spent some time on this map yet there are still some discrepencies. Some seats don't meet exactly, nor do all railings meet exactly as well. Yet these do not affect gameplay at all,(and I'm trying to get some feedback on the gameplay), they are merely an aesthetic inconvience. Considering its serverside I think you did a very impressive job on the colosseum. I think theres a FF missing on the team1's side inless it was intentional that team1 can get out of that bunk but team2 can't. Not sure why but the FFs wouldn't go down after 15 secs either. Unfortunately my computer is having some internet problems and constantly drops clients(NAT routed) so I don't have the ability to do a large "inhouse" beta test. I was trying to get some feedback on the size, playability, and overall balance of the map. There are a few bugs in the scripting code which I am almost done tweaking. I plan to upload the final scripted map sometime within the next few days. Only one thing thats a very bad fault, It takes normaly 5 minutes to light this mission and can sometimes be a pain for joining people. Good job though, if theres anyway you could maybe fix this, then this map would be also good for the Tribes2 econmy. Very nice artistic ability.. Its obvious to the map how it shows much effort from the fact that you scaled wall or put wall pieces together and make a KICK ACE looking collosium and still make it server side. You need to leave the doors open until you can get the script right. The doors ruined a perfectly good map, cause they wouldn't open.
