While I was thumbing through my missions folder I came across these maps I was working on for a WWII mod before my Tribes2 took a dump. I’m pretty sure they are all completed but I just never posted them. (keep your fingers crossed)

This map comes in three flavors, Day, Night and Winter. I have posted all three separately so that you may pick which flavor you want instead of downloading all three which would be around a 6MB file.

Their WWII beach storming style maps consisting of two bases for each team. The main base or what I have called the Silo base and Motor Pool holds the flag and ground vehicles and an Air base, which holds your air vehicles. A tunnel that passes through a mountain section connects both bases. A large section of ocean separates both teams. Strikes may come by sea and air only, which means wheeled vehicles, cannot be deployed near enemy base. These three maps do not have bot support due to the ocean body that separates both teams (they just stand around and act stupid most of the time). Trenches have been dug around both bases to keep those snipers off your back. Also, it is possible to build a vehicle at your enemy’s base just in case you nab the flag and need a ride home.

Also, just want to warn you that there are lots of objects in these maps and low-end systems may not run these maps well. However, still worth taking a look at. Don’t worry, had a friend test these maps out for me and no wholes were found. I also didn’t bother using any of the field effects from Tranquility Base either since they seams to crash the game when shot at. If you find any bugs or problems with these maps, let me know. I will try and find a way to fix them.

This map looks SSSSOOOOOOO cool, but i haven't downloaded it yet. You should make some sort of historicly accurate landing craft for assaulting the beach and bombarding the turrets before attacking.

EEPROM dude, i love all your maps. I dont think there isnt one i dont like. The terrain, some of the scripting, and the concept of them all. Especially these three beach head maps. I love WWII, and i love WWII style maps whether it be Pearl Harbor by Sigma, StormBeach, or your becah head maps. Try to make more WWII maps, its a great concept, and im sure the people love 'em. Right people, right?

wow, when i first started my lan game to dink around with the map (while i was an observer) i thought i heard something but clicked too fast to really hear it. upon the "match" starting i raced outside and sure enough my hunch was right, there WERE air raid sirens going off! REALLY good mood effects with the sirens and alarms (in the Air Base and IAFB). one tip to others out there: never fly too close to the Air Base or IAFB underwater, you'll probably end up eating mortar as i did the first time... :O the trenches are perfect sniper cover (or a sniper buffet if they get up into those mountains that overlook the bases...) and feel/look cool as you run through them. and again, EEPROM, DO NOT LET THIS BE YOUR LAST MAP(S)!!! SO MANY NEWB MAPPERS COMMING OUT!!! NEED SOME PRO MAPPERS SUBMITTING ON A MORE REGULAR BASIS!!! (not that some of the newb mappers are BAD or anything, it's just that normally with your first map you won't get much right... heck, even i started mapping for fun and have some massive mistakes in my maps...)

Because of some CRC failer in the *.ter file the MAP is not uploadable to our Server, doenst matter wich of the three maps Beach*.vl2. Kindly refresh this SUPER Map and give me a hint ;) I like the RTCW stile sooo much.. Second: If the bases would be a bit nearer, it might have an extra fun ! Or an real terrain-like island in the middle with switch and Defence which may reach the others beach may have an extra point on this map to give some fear to the other side ;) thrird .. this might be a super siege map !

Awesome maps although the alarms get on my nerves after awhile. I did test these maps by myself before recommending them to my buddies. In a one player game, the enemy air base has a hole that you can fall through near the rear left corner outdoors (facing the ocean). You can also see a separation between the ground and the base. The hole was consistent in all three maps. Also you can't seem to fully destroy one of the gens although if you take out the second gen the power does go out but that first gen looks like it's still operating with only minor damage. Other than these minor problems I had a blast on the maps.

*ack!* 3 flavores of a new (?) EEPROM map?!? It is indeed Thanksgiving! but now my fragile little mind is blowing a fuse on which to choose... ah, to hell with it. all three! :D
