On this map we used custom shapes and textures from the Dynamix final map pack. So if you don't have it pick it up! We have used new environmental sounds.wav to get the full tropical island feel. We tried to get the atmosphere to sound and feel as real as possible. Hopefully and again we tried to make the terrain friendly to everyone and vehicles. The center objective can be used to cut off paths to incoming ground vehicles, the turrets are located at the two corners of the main road. But first you will need to take out the solar panel, located at the top of center objective tower to lower the force fields in the doorways. Then be prepared to repair the solar panel again to keep the enemy out. Snipers will have a clear view around the mountain top, and cloakies should have no problem finding cover within the oceans fog, and air vehicles will be unseen in the deep waters along the shores. Juggies should have no problems as long as there is good team work and a havoc to ride. Each base has one working plasma turret and two that need to be supplied.

First i have to say the environment is outstanding,so full and lush rolling jungle sounds falling rocks and heavy wind on the cliffs..i just bought a 2gig p4 machine and a gforce4 ,we hooked up a 20 player lan t2 party at the club ,oh my god, this was the second map we played (everyone was catchin a buzz by then)this map is what tribes2 is all about!the place went nuts we had that mountain covered with fire,bombers and havoks racing by,tanks rolling down the mountain and blowing up...so any way D.N.A.,make some more maps like this one,and what ever u guys are "psyhco-inraged-drunken-asses-or whatever-keep-it-up":)

Love the new sounds! But wish you base on the mountain had more to it....and maybe some inside paths to take....besides that good job!

YES! Realy cool map! Mountain is a pain...only if it were smaller or had something in the middle worth being a CnH type of thing but realy like it!

I realy like this map. The mountain is realy good and the sounds are great. I dont think the "LARGE" mountain will cause to much of a problem for spaming with mortars. The turrets might be a pain but good team work is the key on this I think. Great job all around. peace

Thanks for the feed back people! I guess I go over board with the atmosphere I forget about everything else. Sorry if the map sucks I guess. I'll keep trying and will go into more detail on what I used and stuff. Thanks again!

Got turrets? 7 base turrets and 3 sentry turrets are enough to make anyone go crazy. I like the flag in the open like that, but with 3 base turrets surrounding (1 elf, 2 aa) no capper is going to make it out alive, and poor ho will have much too much trouble hopping on over to take out them turrets themselves. I'd also like to see a more compact base area, it seems too spread out and hard to defend (even with all those turrets :P). No real escape routes as far as I could tell, the tracts of land outside the main mountain are too flat, and there's no way a capper could jump that mountain fast enough. Those are my problems with it, but of course it has it's good points. I really like the mountain, it's very cool with all the nooks to hide in, tough to scale for anyone other than light which tones down any type of constant ho spamming. Good environment, I like the fog layers. This map has its problems, but it could easily be fixed.

Y'all really need to use independent aliases. OK, this map is nice. Some suggestions: spread the audio loops out, a lot; change the fog color; raise visibility A LOT; smooth the "roads" and ski-routes a bit more (just tweaking suggestions). I think there is a high fog layer that might not be needed at all. Anyways, I like the terrain and the idea. However, I would expect this to be a somewhat tiresome mortar fest from above, with a smart team simply focusing on spamming the enemy v-pad from above. I'm not sure how you get around that. If folks don't mortar spam, it becomes an intense capping frenzy, which is what i think it is supposed to be: fast capping! Right now, it's nice but not what it could be in terms of gameplay. You also want to state which dynamix map(s) are required (not everybody installs the whole pack - go figure). Anyways, all considered this is a simple idea and well done. I just think you want to stick with the core dynamics and work to enhance them. In other words, my final suggestion: just remove the vehicles. =)

Hey Darkslayer...if what you're saying is true about the floating turret and sensor and that I need some type of building there...may I say that you download the Dynamix Final Map Pack and then all your problems will be fixed...well I guess you're stuck with the flat land around the bases but it's to make up for the large mountain and easier for vehicles to. Another point I would like to make to you is "READ" the details above. Custom shaps=yes, and so on. Thanks. Peace. And enjoy once you have everything!

i think the centre objective, the one on top of the mountain is very messy, with floating wall turrets and radar dish, could you perhaps replace those forcefields with a small building? that would make it look much better also, i think you should make the base areas not quite so flat, it looks a bit dodgy with a massive mountain surrounded by completely flat terrain

NO!!!!! I forgot to put the .dml file in the .vl2 file...I sent it to Bytor to fix it for me....I WILL be fine as soon as he fixes it and puts it up again or whatever he will do...Must have a .dml file to play it!!! even if you do not have the new map pack from dynamixs.......!
