City setting and pretty nice frame rates (the buildings are actually the terrain itself). The solar grid arrays make perfect targets for bombing, and the center section of the map is excellent for hit and run style tanking. Hope you enjoy!

This looks like a good map, it reminds me of fury3 level 5

You must have something wrong with your computer! I have a P3 866 w/ 128MB of RAM and a GeForce2MX and get around 45-55 FPS with all the settings maxed out! ....Oh, right..the map is great. I like the huge statues around the giant light. You should have made an inside to more the buildings, though.

Kudos to Necrobones, zear, and any others who have written tutorials... Ootherwise, Urban Madness was most likely inspired by the N64 game, Battletanx. The buildings were given form by using different paintbrushes/fills. Textures on some of the 90deg buildings were a bit tougher to get to look decent because of the way the ground texture is mapped. I considered putting in a sewer system that would run under the city, but wasn't sure if the ground would cull the polygons (hide them and thus not strain the hardware for people on the ground), or if it would change the dynamics of the game TOO much. I had even considered asking to use the Pipeline tunnels, with the center section having a switch to control them. I think I was getting around 30FPS, with almost everything turned all the way up (amd 700/192MB RAM/Radeon64). Thanks, and hope you like it.

ok, if i were to grade this on jaw-dropping, you would have around an "A". i'm downloading as i type (and freeze, it's cold here in WA!!), and one thing hits me: this looks pretty close to Necrobones's map Urban Warfare (hell to your FPS). most will just copy a map and change about 3 things, then slap their name on it. not you. you took the theme of UW and made it more FPS friendly (i think....). on top of that, that pyramid looks pretty neat. wonder what's inside? (oh look, a tiny coffin... what th- AAAAAA!!!!)
