This mission is based very loosely on the movie, so dont criticize it too badly =). The defenders' base is surrounded by a forcefield wall which is powered by the Laser Fence generator. On each of the posts between the forcefield sections is a missile and mortar turret. Both the wall and turrets can be deactivated by destroying the two generators in the perimeter defense building. Once these are down, the attackers can much more easily access the two main generators, labeled computer room gen and security grid gen. the computer room gen powers all the defenders' stations. The security grid gen powers the two orange forcefields seen in screenshot 3 which are permeable to all players but its easier to destroy the computer room gen when they are down. After both main gens are down the switch is accessible in the tower on top of the hill. This layout makes for easy camping if the defenders arent careful ;). I still cant get the DisplayName field at the beginning of the .mis file to work so it will show up on your list as JurassicPark - not that big of a deal...

it's ok i guess. i love the ff idea, and the huge trees and the growls. i have to agree that the bases are a tad too far apart, but besides' it's cool

Wow!This such an AWSOME map although there are some glitches as seen in the comments below. The bases are a bit to far apart, the capturing base is too small and simple, and it's too "bare".But it still is just about the best idea for seige.I'd like to see more maps about the Jurassic Park movies/games and other movies too. Please make more cool maps like this, provided the suggestions.

Fun map, Yes, the bases are a little too far a part, and the frame rate outside drops allot. All in all it's worth the download.

Good map! I like the way you set up forcefields that couldn't be passed safely even by jetting, and I also like the perimeter defenses that are almost impenetrable by a single tribesman. There seem to be some flaws though - the bases feel too far apart, and shifting defenders from their positions seems too difficult. The missile turrets around the defending base have trouble firing at flying vehicles due to their sensors. A massed vehicular assault would hardly need flares since they can pass safely between two forcefield posts without being fired on. Try flying in a straight line in a shrike and you'll see. There are some visual quirks as well - the lower switch tower entrance clips strangely under the ground (lower it a bit) and there are double forcefields on the lower entrance. One entrance in the main base is covered by rocks and looks weird - plug the entrance but not the corridor leading to it (that area can make a good backup base). There are a few nagging problems, but over all it's a good map with a great concept. Keep up the good work!
