It's a battle between two Nebulon B Frigates (of Star Wars fame) serving as each team's base, and a YF-1300 Correllian Freighter serving as an intermediate objective. Those who have seen Star Wars will (hopefully) recognize these ships.

Flags can only be taken once the generators are down, as they are protected by force fields. Each ship/base has a large number of turrets, which adds further incentive to destroy the enemy generators, which are indeed particularly vulnerable.

Since this is a server side map, a number of the textures don't exactly fit with the theme (as an example, on the objective), so apologies in advance.

Vapor is right. It is the YT-1300, not YF-1300. For those who played "Shadows of the Empire", Dash Rendar's ship is the YT-2400. About this map. It is a nice concept, but the stretching of the textures really does take away alot of the feel of being aboard the Nebulon. Also, i experienced the bug where more shrikes were in the game than needed. All in all, the concept was great. However, there were too many downsides to this map to consider a higher grade. :-(

ur wrong, Animalother - this is Nebulon-B class Frigate, and this with 2 fins is a Modified Nebulon-B Frigate(X-Wing Alliance). erm.. what to say... u should really look at textures - and shapes. This map isnt terrible, but, sorry i say this, it isnt really great. U could at least put better textures :/

A great concept flawed by implementation. First of all, there is a bug that will screw up your server once you run this map. Any map you play thereafter will have 10 shrikes on it. You need to delete all the DSO files. The stretched textures really blow. The firgates are so massively huge that the texures look very very sucky. Also with the new patch the AA turrets are far more accurate and you need to probably cut down on them. The sky NEEDS to be starry as well, I mean, cmon, space. I would have marked it lower than B- but the concept is great. Just needs some work.

Not to nit-pick but I think these are just nebulon class frigates. Nebulon-B is a modifyed Nebulon with two of the large fins instead of one. But the map is fun and I started having flashbacks to X-wing vs Tie Fighter as I was flying around in my shrike.
