Named after an impact crater on the surface of the moon, Mare Imbrium is a fairly simple battlegroud, but an incredibly harsh environment. The teams are placed at the edges of a huge impact crater. Meteors continue to pummel the surface of the planet at a much too constant rate. In the center of the map rests the huge rock that caused the crater--it's electromagnetic energy forcing discharges of lighting to strike the surface of the meteorite. A strange mist surrounds the giant rock while the only repair pack on the entire map is located atop it's hazardous peak. Approach it if you dare. Skiing is encouraged on this map, though you may not approach great speeds. Each team has two vehicle pads, one of which is powered by a separate generator.
