Map Details for Rings of Saturn

Well, here is another Pro Flyer map (what I call them) where knowing how to fly helps. This map takes place in space, like, stuff (what ever you want to call it I guess), centered around one of Saturn's rings. The bases are built on two huge floating rock islands with plenty of rocks to jump to. There is a center objective. Oh, don't worry about falling, a little surprise awaits down below. Anyway, check it out and have fun.

I've like all of your maps that I've played. This one is no different.

Great map. Awesome gameplay I enjoyed every minute of play when this came up on the rotation.

Well hey, I thought the thing at the bottom of the level was cool! I honestly don't care HOW easy/hard it is to die in a level, as long as its fun, which this map is.. A !

Geeeeee, I make a map like Big Rocks and everyone complains how easy it is to die in. Then I make this map trying to keep players alive longer in the game play and you all still complain. I can't win! I know how to make a map without terrain but thought maybe, just maybe you all would like a change from these fast pace maps where you die from either hitting Lava or falling through space forever every two seconds. Guess I was wrong! :(

It's purty and interesting, but as for playability... Since no one else has stated what's at the bottom, neither will I, but it seems lame how easily a jug can nab the flag and bounce back to their base. Easier to jug-cap here than it is in minotaur.

A sharp looking map *except* it's not a space map. I love asteroids. Reminds me of a UT map. I have 2 complaints. There's too much to do on it with the structures below the base and the midpoint with the tunnels. If it could be a cleaner ctf map that would be great. My second complanint is the water at the bottom of the map. You've made it transparent and bouncy. And you don't die when you hit it. Didn't know Saturn had water around it. :) Check with Kristov - Maker of Deep Space, he can tell you how to delete all terrain on a T2 map. That, I suspect, is why you put water there. But overall a fun and differnt map!

This is a unique and creative map. I really don't care for the type of gameplay it offers, but obviously many do. The middle objective seems useless since cappers can bounce on the water below in order to get home, avoiding the middle and potential scouts. It might be fun to fly around the floating debree in a scout, but you could have just made a map full of floating debree and scouts, with no objective other than to fly around and shoot eachother ala star wars. The idea of CTF seems separated from fun, whereby I picture folks flying around ignoring the point of the game. T2 needs less of that, and more of pure, action packed Capture the Flag.

Nice design, but I don't get it. It's not space, and when you fall, you....well..you'll see. Sorry EEPROM, I expected better, I know you can make mindblowing maps, but this is just eye candy, come on.

I can sum this map up in three words: fan-freakin'-tastic. Start downloading. It's a cleverly-assembled combination of some of the more popular features of recent maps - it's a platform-based (as it takes place in either an asteroid field or some sort of mining operation in the rings of a gas giant) CTF map with aerial vehicles, a neat and useful middle objective, a long grav chute, and a special surprise waiting at the bottom of the map. Also, inspect the bases carefully. You'll find a couple of fun hiding spots if you're the sneaky type. :) Nice job, man. I like it even better than Bigrocks. ;)

A for the createivity B for the gameplay.....great map and u did use the water well...BUT you have a abd habit of makeing crappy objectives....Perfect storm is a good example as it becomes a touch fest to control it...same with this..all u get is 1 tiny turret? there is no point really in it...look at "Feilds of Fire" THAT is a good objective....make them defendable and worthwhile...Feilds of fire's objective is fun and worthy of control but yet not too hard to pry people out of...that tower with a team FF is also what makes it the perfect O tower as with only 2 enterences and a team enterence its a great map just to control...I suggest u make your future objectives alamos...but yet not a fort knox...
