Grade: A » Submitted by Mr. Black on 07/13/01Sheer perfection. This is everything I look for in a client side map. By far the best arena map I've ever played on. The only reason I haven't given it an A is cause of one tiny graphics glitch in one of the inventory caves and the difficulty in locating some of the packs. The capturable inventory stations give this map a very unique twist. The previous comment and rating reflect the lack of use for heavies, but this was intended. Arenas are for dueling. There needs to be more maps like this and Dust to Dust. Inventory stations should be earned. Vehicles are for the weak. This is a map full of hardcore carnage. Grade: C+ » Submitted by GIMPbeowulf on 07/12/01While I'm sure it's a whole lotta fun for snipers, I can't realy imagine a jug having any chance or purpose on this one... an occasional assault as a misslike toter, but other than that, it seems like a scout party. There just didn't seem to be a whole lot of interest here, it's so flat and uninterrupted that it'll be the guy who's comp can handle it that will dominate. It sure is purty, though. ;^) |

It's good, I can say it. But it's would make a better deathmatch or team hunters map than a siege map. But it IS a good siege map! The only thing I have to say bad about this map is the thing with the cliff. You jump down and you almost ALWAYS get hurt! That's the only thing I think is bad about this map.
