Map Details for The Long Run |

This is my first Tribes 2 map. The distance between the bases is long. It's a long run on foot, so the vehicles really comes in handy in this map. Teamwork is a key to capture the flag, as it's difficult to cap alone. The two bases have different layouts, so each side has a different defense tactic. I tried to balance both sides equally. In the middle of the battle field you'll find a tactical tower (with capture switch). Please give me feedback so I can improve my mapping skills and make better maps :-) |

Average map. The distance between the bases is indeed far but so far that you wonder why they are so far apart. The objective halfway between is useless since all it gives you is an inv and a sentry turret. You could jet to it in light, then switch to heavy, but you still have about 1100m to go (most of it underwater). Very vehicle-centric if that's your thing.
