Map Details for Neptune

Neptune is the first siege map to go through extensive testing by the Siege Map Developers, a T2 group devoted to testing and publishing siege missions. This means the map has been played by a team of mappers, as well as on public servers. Neptune is server side, meaning individual players do not need to download the mission to play. The map itself consists of the defender's primary base, the attacker's base, as well as three periphery towers with generators that power protective forcefields - a little like the mission Gauntlet. (There is also a secret entrance to the primary base) In play-tests, Neptune never ended in a stand-off, (when both sides fail to capture the base) and quick caps were rare (when a lone ranger captures the base, like what often happens in Alcatraz). And who doesn't like bouncy water? Neptune can be a great addition to your siege server's rotation.

Sweet map, I like what you did with the water!

Now, this map is just darn FUN. I personally get a little frustrated with bad team play on a map like this, but it's great to have on rotation. The "beta" versions have already gotten their fair share of play.

Yes I know im apart of the Siege map developers clan and you know what my comments were already flash, but I want everyone else to know what a good map this is. It does get pretty darn challengeing when play with about 10-10 because of the easy to defend gens but that secret entrance is perfect for cloakers and jammers which is why it needs heavy D on it. Oh yeah watch out in that bouncy water. For some fun drive a MPB into it, but the water does help with some tactics. I am looking forward to seeing Neptune on alot of servers. Keep up the great work Flash can't wait to see whats next!! =)

Lots of generators that are fairly easy to defend. The water is indeed bouncy. I did like the design, so it earns a nice big B =)
