Map Details for Mountain Road |

(Only Partially Foggy) DEFENSE is in a base on the peak of a very high snowy mountain. The base is protected by an array of missile turrets, and has 2 long range sensors. The switch is located in a tower, and protected by a forcefield. There are four generators, two of which powers the equipment, adn two powers the protecting forcefield. All four are located in the main room of the base. OFFENSE starts at a vehicle pad at the foot of the mountain, whose top can be reached with flying vehicles (dangerous due to the missile turrets), or on the ground, by following the road. The vehicle pad is powered by two generators underneath it. Both teams have access to a bonus repair pack (One is underneath the vehicle pad, the other in the main hall of the base) A sidenote : I REALLY hope the spawnpoints work correctly on this map. As far as I've seen they do. I still have a hell of a time trying to fix the broken spawning in my Dam Break map. I know it sounds stupid, but it really is a bug of the editor :( |

Grade: C » Submitted by Lyza on 06/03/01I have a Vehicle station and some floating trees and that's it.. fall off pad, free fall for awhile.. then unhandled exception errors.. Grade: None » Submitted by SammyF on 06/02/01Outsch! I'll check it. It works fine on my comp, so I suppose something went wrong when I zipped it. Bye, Sammy Grade: C+ » Submitted by |Siege| Private Oryan on 06/01/01Ok, I have played this level once. As soon as I started on Storm it took me 3 suicides to finnally get on the V-Pad for offense. Then I hit the CC, and thats when I got tottally kicked out of Tribes 2. I gave this map a C because from the pictures it looked pretty good, But a C because when you play there is no terrain. If it had terrain I would of gave it an A. Good job though. All you really have to do is fix the terrain and spawning points. I tried loading your map twice (restarted) and it didn't work either time. Both times it didn't load any ground anywhere at all. I started on Storm and was just floating in the air so i changed to Inferno. After about 3 respawns, I finally landed on the base. Thinking that maybe this was the actual map design I hopped into my command screen to try and find out where the hell the offense attacked from .... and thats when I got the first Unhandled Exception :(. |

I fixed the zip file. The terrain should be loaded correctly now. Sorry for the inconveniences, Sammy
