I'm not sure if the people grading this one are actually playing it, this is my favorite of all the Omaha maps that I made. It is a very hard map but a lot of fun. Cloaking and Sensor Jamming packs are essential when going on assault to gain new territory, then once you grab a base and it is functional you can quickly switch into a Heavy Assault getup and start smashing the next base and move up. I have had a lot of fun with this map and it is BY FAR the best in my Omaha Series. Although it isn't a beach assualt per se I think this is the most fun and well done of all the omaha beach maps. It isn't as tricky and complex as OmahaSiege with all the various tasks I setup in that one, but this PLAYS more like the map I wanted to create and has almost all of the major bugs worked out of it. Not to mention the there are a lot of new terrain features not found on OmahaSiege that make for a great fight.

This map just doesnt give you the feel of D-Day. Ignore this map and go over and check our Omaha SIEGE or even Omaha Beach.

I actually ignored this for a while, thinking that this great SIEGE map just couldn't work as CTF. Oh, i was wrong. It works, but has serious issues being CTF as is. It has some very odd errors (walk around on bottom floor of the Storm base and you'll find you can't get past what seems like an invisible wall (one way)). Likewise, the Siege-type structure loses its edge a bit, and I wonder what happens when folks just run on the flat lands up above (you need random french woman running around up there). The vehicle options really really really speed this up, and make the various shore-line bases moot. The names of Inferno's surrounding bases are "easy" while Storm's are "dog." That's cruel. :-) But seriously, this is one of the very best Siege maps translated into an OK CTF map.

WOW! Suit up, dig in, and don't forget yer ammo packs boys, this is gonna be a long one, and it ain't no day at the beach. This is a VERY origonal, good looking, and well inspired map, esp. in advent of Mermorial Day this past weekend. This map is DIRTY. I say dirty in that this takes way more bronze than brains to win, and win I say bronze it aint no map fer newbies, this is for the best of the best. As a person that usually picks strat. maps over all others 19 outa 20 times, this one surpised me. With the objective bunkers theres no need for deployables, vehicles are cool on the beach, but not super efficiant, no, theres no mistake, this one takes a hard head and NOT a weak stomache. Its a great map and offers some very unique game play for all who want to test out there gladiator skills with other self-proclaimed champs and heros. No "Tom Hanks" wanna-bes are gonna win this map, its gonna take some really "Rocky" grit and heart. This is a must download. Why just a B then? In the authors effort to make a masterpiece, he may have done too much, and on a state of the art comp like mine, 1.1 ghrtz, 64 mb geforce2, 256 ram, the frame rate is not so great due to the carnage and ambiance. Maybe take out the lightning. But truly a new great, one to be on the server rotations, and a true test of pure adrenaline and sweat.
